On May 18, we mourn the victims of genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.‬

‪In May 1944, nearly 238 500 Crimean Tatars were deported from Crimea as a result of a state-organized action by Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.‬

Ukraine calls on the international community to continue political and diplomatic pressure on #Russia'n occupation authorities to avoid any repetition of 1944 tragedy, to cease immediately violations of fundamental human rights in Crimea.
